An old classic, but still worth the hype. Cedars has been around since 1981, believe it or not and its still making a splash. From the outside, it looks as if it could be your local tavern, but walk in and you are in for a treat. What we love about Cedars:

1. The atmosphere: Its quirky, yes, but also fun. I mean come one, its middle eastern cuisine. The shoe has got to fit the food.

2. The Hookah: Who doesn't love hookah? And smoking hookah out of an authentic hookah pipe...it doesn't get much better than that.

3. The food: Yum, oh yum. The soup and salad appetizer is basic at best, but then you get to the meat and potatoes. They do Middle Eastern right. They balance all the spices so that you are not overwhelmed with anything. (Including cinnamon...you know this has happened at joints before.) Our favorites... Lamb Tagine and Chicken Pastilla. Ask the staff for recommendations, they can let you know what you will like.

4. The belly dancers: Fridays and Saturdays will never be the same for you.

5. The servers: Friendly and helpful...two thumbs up.

Things we might not love as much:

1. The bathrooms: Well....you might want to consider engaging the thigh muscles and doing a good hover. That's all we're gonna say.

2. The wait: When it gets busy, you can have a bit of a longer wait for your food and server, but hey quality takes time

So what do we think? Cedars of Lebanon...we're glad to have you around.
