The Tin Angel Cafe

Yum. Located in the heart of the up and coming downtown area, The Tin Angel Cafe is definitely a great get for the good ole SLC. With its eclectic atmosphere and friendly staff, its a nice departure form the corporate American chain restaurants. So whats so great about it:

1. The decor. Think grandmas attic, mixed with an antique store with a quirky mashed up style.

2. The staff. Friendly and funny. Can you ask for more?

3. The music. Being located right next to Positively 4th Street has its benefits. Don't be surprised if you find yourself jamming out to some old school Joy Division. Also, hit them up on Fridays and Saturdays for their energy filled live music nights.

4. The food. Oh did we mention the food? Its deliciouso! And affordable. They could possibly have the best gnocchi in town. Not to mention they are a locals driven and organic business. Their food is fresh and original. The salads are the bomb, great wine and deserts too. Bread pudding.....need I say more.

5. Pabst Blue Ribbon. Yes, you can order a PBR. Not draft...oh no, can. How can you not love that?

6. The bathrooms. Some of the cleanest on the bunch. You know the food is gonna be good when the bathrooms are emaculate.

So, all in all, we recommend The Tin Angel Cafe. Yes, you may be afraid that you could be accosted by a homeless man from Pioneer Park, (thats just a joke folks) but its definitely worth the risk.

At a glance ratings:

Service: Superb

Food: Yum, Yum Gimme Sum

Cash Flow: Won't break the Bank

Bathroom: Ladies, no hovering necessary.

What's positively 4th street? I tried to find it on the web and can only find directory listings. Do you have an URL?

Tin Angel sounds great -- thx for the review!
